The last few years have seen a number of serious disruptions to the energy markets in GB, Europe, and across the globe, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the ongoing REMA consultation, which could prompt a radical redesign of the GB energy market. In this session, we will discuss our updated expectations for the GB power market, reflecting the impact of these uncertainties and the latest Capacity Market results.

In addition, ahead of the meeting, we will be surveying clients for their views on the key drivers of our forecasts to form a “Market Consensus” scenario.
