Korean grid modelling—power-flow transmission modelling to determine loss and curtailment grid outcomes

In this webinar, our team at Aurora Energy Research will deep dive into the South Korean grid. We will summarise our general grid modelling approach that we have deployed in markets such as the US, Australia, Japan, and the Philippines. Our team will explore the major challenges of grid modelling in Korea—in particular, data availability on the existing grid, demand growth, and forecasting granular renewable build-out. Finally, the team will share insights on granular case examples to look at grid losses and curtailment for current and future new build renewables.
