Talent Acquisition Coordinator


We are currently hiring an in-house corporate recruitment specialist who will facilitate all recruitment initiatives as well as own and manage our US Graduate Program.

You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for our Austin office. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers on recruitment briefs and use your sourcing expertise to identify, engage, and hire great talent.

As owner of the Graduate Program, you’ll also have overall responsibility for recruiting university students into various entry-level roles at Aurora. Working in the central People & Culture (P&C) function, the individual will build, and deliver attraction, selection, and recruitment strategies for graduate hiring, including managing marketing campaigns, campus events, university relationships, and attending relevant graduate attraction events.

Key responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Work with hiring managers to create compelling and inclusive job descriptions.
  • Identify the most suitable recruitment channels for various vacancies up to senior management level.
  • Use various direct sourcing tools & techniques, including building Boolean strings to mine CV databases, LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Conduct initial conversations with candidates to better understand their backgrounds and to answer their questions.
  • Scheduling and overseeing competency interviews and candidate interview presentations.
  • Managing the candidate experience with timely updates and constructive feedback.
  • Deliver regular status reports on recruitment progress.
  • Support ad hoc talent attraction and recruitment projects.

Graduate Program Management

  • Working with P&C and the Graduate committee to agree on the annual graduate recruitment hiring plans, and timelines
  • Works with Marketing and the Graduate committee to agree on the university attraction, brand, and communication strategy that positions Aurora as a leading employer of choice for students
  • Owns relationships with key external suppliers and ensures marketing content on candidate attraction channels is up to date
  • Organisation of, and attendance at, virtual and in-person events throughout the year including careers fairs, webinars, and Aurora insights days
  • Overall responsibility for the quality of the Graduate selection process to ensure the selection process is efficient objective, and inclusive
  • Supports Line Managers in making selection decisions post-interview and overseeing the post-offer conversion process, including offer letters & contracts, managing candidate communications, queries, and negotiations.
  • Coordinating the end-to-end graduate lifecycle and being the graduate liaison.

Required attributes

  • Talent sourcing experience in a corporate environment or within a recruitment agency.
  • A career focus on engaging passive candidates and selling the employer value proposition.
  • Strong project management and prioritisation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, graduate degree in a relevant field a plus.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intellectual horsepower and a natural curiosity to be a subject matter expert/thought leader.
