HR Coordinator


The role of the Human Resources Coordinator is to provide efficient, confident, customer-focused, and proactive HR support to employees at all levels throughout their employment life cycle at Aurora, with a particular emphasis on supporting HR operational delivery.

Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you will act as an HR support to US leaders & line managers and are responsible for owning, driving, and executing all operational HR activities for the Austin office, in close collaboration with the UK HR team.

You will thrive on juggling a variety of HR tasks and working at pace in a very busy and growing HR team.  We are a close-knit, fun bunch and are hugely supportive of each other. Key responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all HR & recruitment related queries for both employees and external candidates
  • Builds strong relationships with the leadership team and hiring managers
  • Responsible for end-to-end hiring needs, from sourcing candidates, through to onboarding and being the main point of contact to ensure an exemplary candidate experience
  • Responsible for managing all immigration requirements for Aurora employees and new hires, with support from an immigration specialist
  • Provide a positive and smooth end-to-end onboarding and offboarding experience in collaboration with the broader Operations team
  • Manages all employee relations and talent management activities in line with the Head Office principles & processes
  • Collaborate with the L&D Coordinator & the owners of the Aurora Academy to deploy L&D initiatives in the US offices
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, in line with Group guidelines
  • Regular reporting on HR & recruitment activities
  • Work in conjunction with Finance to process and coordinate payroll and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies and local employment legislation
  • Proactively collaborate with other Aurora offices & HR teams, to share knowledge and expertise
  • Administer the exit process, including arranging exit interviews, and producing exit interview analysis and reports

Required attributes

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of proven experience working in an HR, recruitment or Operations team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • A self-starter and a real team player, who can evidence using their initiative and their ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude, taking pride in delivering outstanding work
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities whilst maintaining good attention to detail
  • Excellent MS skills particularly Outlook (calendar management), MS PowerPoint, Excel & Word

Desirable attributes

  • Proven experience working for a fast-growing international consultancy or professional services business
  • Proven work experience managing complex meeting schedules across multiple time zones
