The second edition of the Aurora Energy Transition Forum in New York brought together leading voices shaping the future of the US energy sector for a day of connection, debate, and insight. Amidst a year of uncertainty and change, the Forum provided a rare opportunity for senior decision-makers to engage in open discussion about the challenges and opportunities driving the energy transition.

Keynote speaker Jason Bordoff delivered a compelling address on energy’s re-emergence at the heart of global geopolitics, highlighting how investment in clean technologies and diversified supply chains can help mitigate emerging risks.

Across the day, conversations explored themes including the growing “race for electrons” as access to power becomes a key constraint on AI development; the importance of an “all of the above” approach to energy technologies; the resilience of the clean tech sector despite market pressures; and a renewed “flight to quality” in energy investments.
