Powering Net Zero: Reform, Resilience, and the Road Beyond 2030

Aurora Energy Research brought together its renewables, battery, and hydrogen summits into one flagship event focused on the full energy system. The event provided a day of key insights and networking, exploring how to deliver Clean Power 2030 securely and affordably, meet rising demand for hydrogen and electricity, and unlock the role of batteries in system integration.

The UK was targeting a clean power sector by 2030 and full decarbonisation by 2050. With new government support for nuclear, CCUS, and market reform, as well as a Growth Plan expected that autumn, key questions remained around delivery, funding, and resilience.
