After our successful virtual event in 2021, the in-person Aurora Renewables Summit Berlin is returned on 24 May 2022 to the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences.

The event focused on the effect of the Ukraine-Russia war on renewables, hydrogen, and the broader energy market.
Key topics included:

  • The challenges posed by Germany’s ambitious target of generating 80% of the country’s electricity from renewables by 2030
  • Reducing the country’s dependence on Russian gas
  • The necessity of utilising clean technologies including offshore and onshore wind power and solar power to achieve future targets
